Karl Lagerfeld ha importado  265-ton iceberg de las regiones del norte de Suecia a Grand Palais de París para el otoño / invierno 2010-2011  show Chanel. Permanente a 28 pies de altura en una piscina de poca profundidad del agua, la escultura fue tallada por treinta y cinco escultores de hielo y tomó seis días para crear, obligando a la temperatura del aire en el interior hasta los niveles bajo cero (-4 º C) .  La colección  sobreexpuso tejidos gruesos de punto, tejidos de lana y pieles de imitación difusa.

Karl Lagerfeld imported a 265-ton iceberg from the northern reaches of Sweden to Paris' Grand Palais for the autumn/winter 2010-2011 Chanel show. Standing at 28 feet tall in a shallow pool of water, the sculpture was carved by thirty-five ice-sculptors and took six days to create, forcing the inside air temperature down to sub-zero levels (-4ºC) and making the collection’s chunky knits, tweeds and faux fuzzy furs all the more enticing.
